Quick Question for people who were at the game

The “Let’s Go Canes” chants at the coin toss said it all. Could’ve been 500 canes in there and they would’ve been louder. From Mario, to the players, to the fans. Everyone ******* hungry

Many OSU fans at the stadium and the after party at Texas Live kept telling us how shocked they were at how well Miami traveled and how they expected Miami fans not to show up.
People are dumb and just believe the recycled social media lies.

We've always been a national brand. Of course we travel well.

And it always amazed me how we are simultaneously the worse fanbase but also a fanbase that somehow doesn't even exist.

What percentage of the crowd were Canes fans?

Based on the TV audio on plays when the Canes fans cheered, it sounded like it was a good 35% Canes. What did it look like to those in the building?

Thanks.
id say like 60-40.

OSU had the larger share but miami showed up.

game wasnt sold out in terms of butts in seats esp up top but still loud.

the game prep was awful by the stadium - they ran out of food by the third quarter which is insane bc there were less people there than a normal cowboys game. hard rock trumps it in drink and food offerings surprisingly.

Yeah I was there. Sounds about right. But Canes Nation came to make some noise. The loudest they got was that bomb to JJ. However since we lead the entire game they were sitting there with a the **** look on their ugly faces Oh it was soooo ***’n sweet.

Just saw this...I posted in K9's thread that I thought it was 35-40%. But I also think there were some "neutral" fans who just "liked Miami better".

Can't tell you the number of "Go Canes" I got in the service industry, all over the airports, at every restaurant and hotel and bar.

Blue collar LOVES Miami!

It was the best showing for us since the Fiesta Bowl (2003). Still remember the "puddle of Orange and Green" at the Rose Bowl. We've come a long way.

I had it about 40/60 (Canes/Losers), and that seemed to be the consensus from most of the fans I spoke to at the game and afterwards.

Where are all the people who said there would be tons of empty seats?
My daughter has university friends from Dallas that went and they're not fans of either team, but know good football.
It’s sold clean, but you could get in for 30 bucks at one point so it was cheaper than a DoorDash order for some

this is why i said we should recruit DALLAS...thats probably the only area of texas im cool with devoting attention to because of Jimmy and t hem laying groundwork with the cowboys that area on the cuff appears to be partial to the canes.

Ohio state fan asked my buddy “ why do the Spanish Miami fans speak English and Spanish combined” 😂

I got a ton just walking to the stadium from the parking lot.

at my hotel, the valet guy was chatting us up about Miami football history and players.

It felt like there were more Miami fans there than there probably was, because OSU was taken out of the game early.

Miami didn’t have a 3 and out after the first drive.
There weren’t a ton of plays run in the game relative to other games
And Miami played with a 2 score lead most of the game.

Live it felt 50-50, 60-40 Miami, even if your eyes told you that wasn’t the case.
