Quick Question for people who were at the game

Our section was mostly OSU….and I can barely speak today….

OSU played like their fans. Docile

I was in the lower section which was slam packed with Canes fans. It is hard to tell who was louder because the fans are yelling at the other side of the stadium and the noise didn’t bounce back.

Their band was louder than the fans most of the time.

The single loudest play- pick 6. Then JJ’s TD and Browns TD. That allow shows we had some loud fans. I lost my voice by the 3rd quarter.

Likely 40%

I'd estimate over 25K Canes fans, we were in Section 227 which was a good mix of both but more UM than OH.

Great job all y'all!

Mentioned that the announced attendance was 71k (in a stadium that holds around 100k) and those numbers tend to be padded.

What was the actual butts in seats guesstimate? Did that 71 figure seem about right?

Their ******* lame band was louder than their crowd and it was ****ing me off. How can you be allowed to bring like 200 ******* tuba players. Lamé university
Don't ever disrespect the tuba! The buckeyes are experts of sucking off the meat variety of that thing and you need recognize!

On tv our fans were louder. I thought we somehow had the bigger crowd based solely on noise.

Yup. That's why I asked the question. It sounded really loud for the Canes at times. The pick six was a great example. It sounded like the Canes had the majority of fans at that moment.

I actually thought it looked like more than 71K. But the layout of that stadium is so odd. The 100, 200 and 300 level sections are tiny in comparison to a lot of stadiums. Then the club level is massive, and I didn’t have a great view of much of the 400 level from my seats. I suspect that’s where most of the empty seats were.

As far as the split, it looked to be about 40% UM. We showed up great for this one.

Thanks!

Fair to say 30,000k-something fans 1,300 mies away from home base on short notice in the holiday season is a good turnout for any school

71 seems right. The OSU side looked pretty full. No idea on the Miami side outside of the lower level and endzone which looked mostly full.

Many OSU fans at the stadium and the after party at Texas Live kept telling us how shocked they were at how well Miami traveled and how they expected Miami fans not to show up.

It was about 45% Miami and 55% OSU. I was in the upper section behind the Miami bench and it was a ton of Miami fans up there with some OSU fans sprinkled on our side. We were definitely heard last night!

You had some empty seats, but there were a lot of fans up there. Seems like there are a ton of Cane fans in the bigger cities as when I lived in Atlanta we’d have a good number at the Tech games. It reminds me of that now that I’ve moved to Dallas.

It was great to see soooooo many fans after the game chanting…”It’s GREAT TO BE…”

It was closer to 50%. Maybe 45% Canes fans. Very well, great turnout and we were super loud.

Same friend group and I will be at the Fiesta Bowl

Are we able to do the same in AZ?

It’s a lot to ask the fans to travel for all these playoff games and expect half capacity. @CS, @Arlington, @PHX. At least we’ll be rewarded for the final.
I will be driving out to AZ
So maybe there will be a convoy of Canes in Cal on I10 East this week!!!

Canes fans showed up bigger than I expected. I also saw a good amount of people in neutral colors that seemed to be pulling for the Canes. Not sure what that was, but I was good with it. A great showing.
I'm guessing the TAMU fans that weren't able to offload their tickets.
