We won.

On the other hand, now we have a scholarship punter and kicker that both rot.

Thankfully a walk-on punter (another UF transfer) averaged over 42 a punt - and that's acceptable.

Looks like we need to check out our walk-on kickers now, because Baxa is awful.

It's a good thing we went out of state to find a kicker who can't make them.

We are an average special teams punter, kicker and unit away from being good. LSU and FSU scored on us because of the short field our punting gives these teams.

No that dude has no hang time. Who cares that he punts 70 yards if he has no hang time. DJ Matthews had all day to diagnosis where he wanted to go because of our punter.

Our coverage units were trash - Watch Mike Smith’s effort on one and then Knowles making his presence felt by missing the tackle on the TD

No surprises. Just like with our punter and kicker.

Who handles STs again?

Yep.

We got very lucky this afternoon against a so-so FSU team.

Listen, the people who thought this game would be a blow out is new to rivalry. Unless the team is LOADED like 2001 Miami or 2013 FSU these games find a way to be close.

The biggest and most glaring negative is our special teams. I don't think I've ever seen this bad of a special team. IN. MY. LIFE.

I've see bad kickers, bad punters, bad coverage teams but not ALL at once. My goodness.

Our special teams are anything but special, with the athletes we have, I just don't get it. Has haunted us Hartley's entire tenure albeit a dog in recruiting.

At least Baxa made the crucial extra point....unlike us a couple years ago.

It’s funny how clueless some of these people are. His line drive punts were a big part for there being no coverage when the returner caught the punt.

It is sad that a kicker and punter are the reason we can’t hang with the big boys. Something I never realized how big of a deal kicking is to the field position battle till this year. Teams starting at their own 40 most of the game is a huge disadvantage.

Our Special teams is a liability. We could have thrown for 400 yards. Richt insistence on running it almost cost us. He need to trust Perry. Dont tell me bout dude cant read defense. He came backside to throw that TD to Brevin.

Special teams has to be addressed as soon as possible. Canes special teams equals below par Sun Belt teams. Unacceptable.

This is not the worst FSU team....it's just not well coached. Big difference. They still have talent....some may say they have more than Miami.
