Perry I believe has potential on becoming a solid starting QB but still you can tell he is very inexperienced
 
I like the blitzes. I like aggressive defense. Its on the players to man up and cover their responsibilities. After complaining about No D 20 yards off i prefer this style, we can create more havoc. Sure we will get burnt from time to time but when we have top notch talent everywhere the QBs wont have anytime to get rid of the ball. And the players will know when to back out of the blitz and change the play

That’s why reps are so important.

Glad he got essentially a whole game on tape today. Wish we would’ve done this sooner....but it is what it is.

Problem is that it is unnecessary most of the time, not disguised well, and usually is blocked by the opposing team.

If you can’t get pressure with your front 4 against Fiu then we have bigger problems.
 
First 40 minutes was one of the most dominating defensive performances I've ever seen. Those *****ing about Manny today need to STFU.

Killer instinct and busted coverages i will put on playing 2nd and 3rd team guys....

Derrick Smith missed some sure tackles. Took poor angles. He's definitely not your traditional, out in space Safety. It's in the box or nothing for him.

Loved what I saw from Harley and NKosi. Very encouraging.

Still shaking my head about the Ivey blitz leaving his man wide open. Gonna assume Diaz called that play... Should have at least been a cover Safety there to slide over and pick the WR up.

Overall, great 3 quarters, and awesome job by our starting front 4 on Defense. Those guys were dominant.
 
I have to agree that the "exotic" blitzes are not necessary. We pretty much played them straight up in the first half and totally dominated them. Only 48 yards and 1 first down by penalty in the first half.
