I know we have a good group of linebackers coming in spearheaded by Shaquille but isn't this the type of guy you make room for and keep close to home? Since he isn't following in his father's footsteps at FSU shouldnt we make a play for him? How does he compare to McLeod Shaq and Pinckney?

Good player, not coming here. But he's one of those guys you recruit out of respect even if you know they aren't coming. Just leave a good image for the other players in the area and his daddy who has major influence on those kids. A lot of talent coming from there

HE'S LIKE 5'10-5'11 and got a little heavy this year...

Good player, Pretty smart on the field as well..

Not better than any thing we got committed though....wont drop any one for him.

I agree that he's not better than any of the backers we have comitted. To me he's a less athletic version of nate webster. However yall saying how we have no shot etc etc really surprise me. Up until dnofrio really started ******** the pooch here last year he looked like he was ready to make an early comittment. He always talked about how much he loved it down here & our tradition etc. Now with richt there is very few kids that won't atleast give us some serious thought from down here by the way.

I think he means if you didn't offer him you'd have to see 500 threads about him if he ends doing mediocre or better at another school. By offering him we will only have to see 237 threads about how we missed on another SFL stud.

LOL do you pay attention to recruiting? Teams do it all the time to not get a bad vibe from HS coaches. It's like FSU recruiting Al Blades Jr. knowing he's a cane, yet they still give him the recruiting experience. Alabama did it to Chad Thomas. He told them he was 100% cane and Saban said you can still come on your visit and enjoy the experience, because you are a 5 star recruit and we are doing our job.

A lot of players that I train are at a school that is a TN pipeline, other schools know it and they still recruit them out of respect. Pretty common

Maybe I didn't word it right, maybe there's a better word for it than respect. It happens all the time. He's just one of those guys that you know based on him being a nole legacy that he's not coming to Miami. You just don't ignore him because of that, the younger kids at Flanagan will see it, and it just leaves a bad image for future recruits. Even more so when it's a legit player like Bush, you just give him the respect and experience he deserves to maintain a good image in the area.

love him denying FSU

if we can’t have talent, always nice to see a rival who we play miss out on it too

I am completely LMAO at fsu. They have a tremendous need at LB and can't get a legacy. LOL. Maybe MT6 can fill the void.

Where jrock813? LOL
