Question on LB recruiting....

With Barrow gone, will Coach Hurlie Brown go in a different direction with the recruitment of the LBs??? I knw Perry should be safe, but what about Claude George and Jamie Gordinier??? Will coach Brown pull their offers an go after somebody else? Push harder for Coney or other prospects? Thoughts please.....

Nothing is going to change. If our D coord step down different story but im pretty sure those guys will not be affected.

Linebacker coach isn't the guy who has final say on linebackers. They might be able to bang the table every now and then for a guy they like (see: Perryman), but Golden has final say.

These are guys Golden wants, their job is to recruit them... They help with evals but the final decision to offer and and accept their commitments is Golden's.

apparently, Perry is not 100% UM atm..

Perry, who committed to UM in June 2013, said “no comment” when asked if the move changes his feeling about the Hurricanes. Perry, who is being recruited by Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Florida State among others, said he will take five official visits in the fall.

Perry's the only one I'd hate to lose, so hopefully Hurlie's able to keep him here. We could definitely upgrade at the other LB spots in this class, IMO.

Hurlie is at least as good a recruiter as Barrow so I'm not worried. Lock'em down Hurlie!
