If you had a player who had a disaster in his senior season (injury) would you look at JUCO or Prep for a D1 caliber athlete.

Would be interested in seeing banter on this. Legit question guys.

Just to understand the question.

The HS recruit gets injured his senior year, would it be smarter to go to Prep or JUCO?

prep school....one of the militaries (Hargrave,FUMA or Milford...it gets the kid some exposure and they wont lose a year. You would have to contact the preps asap as they usualy fill up

Prep, for the reasons stated and because if it takes longer to heal and he cant compete well next year, he won't have started the clock ticking on his eligibility before he's recovered.

WHY would have a player have to go JUCO as apposed to Prep?

Prep, maintain your full eligibility and give you a year to mature and maybe get more discipline. Also if it's an injury there are a lot of prep schools out there who have better athletic training rooms and more technologically advanced rehab machines then most JUCO do
