Did anybody use the live mode on the app?

If so, let me know how the experience was. If not, you should. Automatic thread refreshing and the most recent post goes to the top.

I love the idea. My problem is that if you start the thread late, it constantly refreshes before you catch up. I like reading from the beginning and as I was reading through the posts, it kept refreshing and put me at the most current posts.

It’s picky, but would be nice if it knew when users weren’t at the most recent posts so it doesn’t force you to read them new posts and lose where you are at - not sure if this makes sense.

It was good, significant improvement over previous years chats, and why I had been recommending som discord-like live chat interface for years here. This was much better.
- clicking on quoted posts didn’t work to send you to the post being quoted.
- and it was pretty hard to notice if someone responded to you. Didn’t even notice I had like 10 notifications of responses after exiting the live mode… on other live chat apps they usually do a slight shade/highlight of responses to your post making them easier to find

It’s annoying tbh. As soon as someone posts a new comment it updates and refreshes to the top. I prefer using the gameday thread where I can control the refresh rate and can see every post
