after looking at the depth chart at linebacker, im concerned about whether we have enough there for this upcoming season (assuming bond doesn't make it in). has Miami reached out to juco linebackers for the 2013 class? what are your thoughts on the linebacker corp

we have jermaine grace and Fig coming in

We already have: Kirby, Perryman, Hoilett, Cornelius, Thurston Howell, Kelvin Cain


8 linebackers is enough for this year, and I may even be overlooking one.
 
Hoilett and Cain are DE's. Calling Cornelius is a joke. The fact is, UM is thin at LB and we all better pray none get hurt...

Didnt see Fentress on the roster
 
We will be fine at LB this year, but reinforcement are coming next year. Trust the golden plan.
 
Gaines, Blue, Figs, McCord,Grace, Dp, Cornelius, T Armbrister, Tucker and Cain. McCord and Cain will put their hand in the dirt at times.
 
Perryman, Gaines, Figs, Kirby will see most of the snaps

Armbrister and Cornelius will be 1st 2 off the bench at the beginning of the year is my guess.

No idea about Blue because I never here reports about him.

Grace will work his way into the rotation as the season progresses

Tucker will redshirt.

I consider McCord a rush end but maybe he will play OLB in non rush situations. Will be one of the things in interested to watch this year
 
They also have the guy that was comitted to run track at Clemson. Can't think of his name, but he's starting out at LB.

Perryman, Gaines, Kirby, Blue, Cornelius, Grace, Figs, Armbrister and McCord

Then you have Tucker and Bond (if gets in)

Numbers are there. We will have at least 4 more next you.

I would like to see a lineup of Perryman, Kirby and Gaines. Let Figs ease his way into it in a backup role instead of throwing him into the fire. Lets not forget he hasn't played in 2 years. We will see McCord used as a blitzer and he will probably play some with his hand in the ground too. Cornelius and Armbrister will provide depth but hopefully we can stay healthy and keep them off the field as much as possible. We really need Perryman to stay healthy this year and take that next step. Also can't wait to see what Kirby can do.

Figs has been here all spring and summer and fall camp, not sure he needs to "ease" his way into a back up role.
