Question for D$

Agree. Our run game was extremely pedestrian with the exception of one or two games (VT especially.)

I think that game showed the most run game diversification than all the others. First time we saw a jet sweep, some counter power concepts, some qb mid line reads. I have always maintained this isn't the best offensive line in Miami history BUT when you give them a diversified playbook in the run game they are gorilla warfare specialists.

Great comment before in terms of the varied personnel groupings Richt can employ this year. I'll interject one that has me curious. Very interested how teams will combat a potential grouping of

QB 1
HB Homer
HB Deejay
WR 1
WR 2
TE Brevin

Ultimately do you consider this 11 set or 21 as a defense. (ultimately with Brevin's unique pass catching ability flexed out you can even say it's 10 set) Do you come in nickel or stay base? If Richt can find away to incorporate designed runs with Deejay in this set (Other than Wildcat) I think you can get numbers in the run game. And when both Deejay and Brevin Flex out I think this is another viable option to get mismatches on a defense. You would essentially force a lb or nickel to cover Brevin or Deejay in this set. Good luck.

I think Richt will use Brevin more like he used Njoku than Herndon - flexed out wide and in the slot more often than in-line. Imagine that personnel coming out in a 21 look, then Deejay and Brevin both motion wide... That's a lot of options for a LB to have to consider.

Jordan is a combo of njoku and Herndon with some of the best run after catch skills I’ve seen from a tight end in a long time. And he’s very fast for his position
