Question for baseball gurus???

What is this postseason you speak of? You mean teams play more games after the conference tournament?
That’s what I hear 😂. I laugh to keep from crying about this team

When I coached high school ball, I remember having young teams that went 10-12 or 13-11 and thinking to myself how good we were going to be in a year or two. That usually happened. Played in multiple state championships with some of those teams against top competition, not 2a or 1a ball. This team doesn’t show that same promise

Not to say we don't need an infusion of talent, we do.
To me fundememls trumps all when it comes to baseball. Coastal Carolina is the perfect example of that. Fundamentals can be coached and practiced
To that end those who have been to the practices what are they like? Country club atmosphere or high energy/learning going on? I have been to a few TN and UConn practices and they are intense, no one standing around, a lot of teaching going on.

Somehow I can’t see JD and Laz running a quality practice. You play the way you practice.

This fan base is not going to be happy with a bunch of try hards who scrap their way through the post season just to lose to a powerhouse. We want to dominate like Vandy, UT, LSU, and UF have been doing lately…
I get it, and want the same. Been a fan since the mid 80's and have seen the potential of this program.
My thing is that with proper teaching of fundamentals this group, this year, could have contended for the conference. Could have hosted a regional.
Instead, we can't even run the **** bases without running ourselves out of innings. Or committing errors on routine plays. Or leaving our pitchers in just two batters too long. Or having predictable pitches.
Better coaching & better teaching could've really changed our outcome this season

I still stand by fundamentals
