Question about stars

Why is it that Miami’s 4 and 5 star recruits end up having worse playing careers than the 2 and 3 star recruits on other teams? Didn’t everybody in the country want these guys? The bust rate is just unbelievable. And this has held true across multiple UM coaching staffs.

It boggles the mind.

Is it also bad evals?

Look at guys like M. Pope and G. Hall. Now you have guys like A. Williams and Knighton hitting the portal without ever having come close to living up to their supposed potential.

There are good 4 and 5 star players and there are bad 4 and 5 star players. Miami recruits the bad ones.
