Question about new stadium

Sorry if this was already answered, but will this stadium protect from lightning delays? Basically, if there is lightning in the area do we have to suspend the game since the field is uncovered or can we keep playing with the canopy? Those lightning delays are the worst, so maybe this is just hopeful thinking lol

While I'd think with the spires and canopy the risk of getting struck on the field is drastically reduced, don't think it's eliminated without a complete roof. So they'd probably still play it safe.
 
Good question. I got to think that if there is lightning there will be a delay though. Maybe the next renovation will include lightning resistant steel in 2036???

The spires probably have lightning conductors.
They actually attract the lightning strikes and ground them.
It would be a helluva light show.
