The truth is that no one on here could possibly know this answer. Because (a)Miami is a PRIVATE University; (B) contracts for coaches have lots of terms- length, base, incentives, etc. so a coach could have a base salary plus incentives for wins, winning the division, conference, a bowl, etc. They may also have a deal as part of the agreement to do , say,, a radio or TV show as part of the contract.
My absolute guess ( and nothing more) is that there is no way Miami is paying its HC more than Oregon with its vast network of alum and its Nike connection but its a guess.
