I don't think sacks and TFLs are the measure for a MLB in our defense. Certainly the tackle number should be something considered when measuring his season, but it's kind of a position where you can dominate games without it showing on the stat line.

You're right, and I think we (Miami fans) understand how dependable he is and the role he fills as a leader on/off the field. But this business about him being ranked ahead of J. Jackson and M. Jackson for purposes of the NFL draft....I just don't get it.

Most important skill or trait in a player is “availability”. In today’s pass happy nfl, I don’t know where our pride and joy gets drafted, but I am betting that young man plays a long time and makes tons of $$$ and us extremely proud. Couple turnover chains in big prime time games wouldn’t certainly move hm up on boards.

It's crazy how the media is constantly overlooking Michael Pinckney? He is the #1 playmaker for us at the LB position.

And Joe Jackson and Michael Jackson not being listed is blasphemy... I'm taking MJ over DeAndre Baker any day.

I kept track and Quarterman made considerably more plays than Pinckney.

Wow. I'm sure Shaq is laying awake at night trying to figure out how to get a high school also ran to anoint him a next level star. Dude can't sleep fo sure now, he tossing and turning. lol.

which isnt much....and pickney makes better plays .. mayb not more but when he makes a play its usually a impactful play... once again.. needs to be more consistent half the time he just runs str8 into blocks but when he doesnt do that hes our best lb
