Thinking outside of the box...

People who saw the spring game could most agree Jarren looked the most fluid and natural guy out there even though he probably didn't know what he was doing .

Do you think Richt pulling Kosi is in part due to wanting to leave the position up for grabs for Jarren next year? I think if Richt thought Kosi was his guy for the future he doesn't pull him imo

Btw no matter what happens this season I think Jarren wins out next spring/fall

If the O doesn't change, we will see Williams looking like crap for long stretches as well.

That would be a good spin, but I don't think Richt is engaged enough to even think like that. He is ****ed at Perry for something. He pulled him to let him know that he is boss. In the midst of proving his point he cost us a game.

So is Perry ****ed at Pastor Richt and is that why he played the way he did?

I kind of agree Perry's not the guy. He's better that Rosier but it seems like there's something going on for Richt to bench him, that didn't make sense. Jaren will be the QB next year unless we have some miracle and land a 5 start high school, no miss kid.

Jarren is more than likely going to take the QB position. N'kosi can not read a defense and Jarren just has a higher football IQ.

How do you know Williams has a higher football iq than Perry? Williams was in mop up duty against a “girls” team.

apparently perry just isn't a student of the game. he's got talent but doesn't do enough in prep during the week (that was the issue w him over the summer). perry hasn't looked overly impressive outside of moments (FIU aside) and got worse against UVA. obviously, i wouldn't have benched him, but i also wonder how much did lack of prep led to the benching. either way, perry has more than enough talent (we've seen this) to deserve the chances to right the ship even after the rough start as Rosier has been given the same chance.

from what romberg said all summer about perry -- he doesnt do enough to prepare and be a competent top level D1 QB. the suspension apparently gave him kick in the right direction and then we saw him look horrible against UVA

It had nothing to do with JW or next year.

Richt panicked like he always does and went into his "safe" mode.... and put in his half a$$ senior in a desperate move.

it doesnt and it shouldn't. hes been better than rosier but only slightly bc of his talent.
I would like to see how perry does given time to get comfortable. Running an offense that doesn’t rely on heaving the ball 40 yards downfield would help.

I personally feel Perry has the goods. He just needs to be trusted and coached better. Who's our QB coach again??

agreed and also what it would look like if perry (and Jon Richt) actually did some film study

he def has the talent to be the guy, but he, MR, and JR need to figure out how to teach him coverages/defenses. its all on the two richts if perry never learns imo
