Obviously we know Mensah is QB1, but how did the other guys look in spring practice? Do you guys think we have our future QB on the roster?

The room is much better overall than it was a few years ago. For all the Judd hate he looked good in the Spring game. Nickel is capable. Coleman has a pro arm but is tiny. But as long the portal is what it is and we can cherry pick off the top every year, not sure any of them are ever starters. They'd have to be special.

Agreed. I don't know about Judd (physical talent is there but so much more to being a QB), but Nickel and Coleman are better than previous H.S. QB recruits.

Something might’ve clicked for Judd. Starting next year as opposed to another transfer? Doubtful. But he’s impressed the staff.
 
Assuming DM has season this year like he did last year, we will truly be spoiled to have a run at QB like we have the last 2/3 years.

Judd has the most talent by far again and has taken a huge step this off season. He will never start for us. Nickel has taken a big step forward and right now, their is no chance he starts for us next season. All you have to do is set eyes on Coleman without a football and know he isn't even a option right now. Forget all the coach talk, that's the QB room. Per usual, their is the starter and then a drop off in the abyss.
