, “With D’Eriq, it’s been great to learn. I’ve learned a lot of stuff from him. We go, probably twice a week, after practice and just watch film together and learn. He helps me get the grasp of what teams do on defense and the game plan. It’s been really good. D’Eriq’s been a great resource. He’s going to prepare me for the next level. As much as I want to play, I also want to learn and get better before getting into the game. I don’t just want to go in, get into the fire. I want to go in and give everything I’ve got and do my best.”

I think he'll be the starter for 2021.

His big arm & athleticism will be utilized well in Lashlee's offense.

I love the article and the attitude. I still think we need to use the final counter for a transfer QB. I'm super impressed with the new Perry, but worry he's like FSU's QB, just doesn't process the game fast enough. And TVD is looking more and more like our future star. But can't put the whole team's success on his back.

Nice to have a kid that knows where he stands, isn’t entitled and most importantly wants to LEARN. We need this across the board. Sick and tired of seeing kids leave early where they could be mentoring or showing the young pups the way.

If a good transfer QB hits the portal come December/January I definitely think we should make a run at'em.

The whole team's success won't be on TVD's back, his job will be more so to get the ball to the playmakers & don't turn the ball over. We'll have one of the strongest RB stables in the country again for the 21 season & we're getting an infusion of speed at WR with the next crop coming & our TE group will still be good even after Brevin leaving. Plus one more year of the OL maturation & getting more comfortable within this system & TVD will be surrounded by plenty of help.

I'm still not against taking a HS QB in this class, it doesn't have to just be Garcia or no one, there's other QB's still available I would try to flip.

But if all else fails, I think TVD will be ready to go next year.

I think you're right, the 2021 QB is definitely on the roster.

His name is D'Eriq King.

That's actually a big worry. It's the number 1 trait a QB needs to have.
