It would appear that our quarterbacks take too long releasing the ball. If you watch the pros you'll notice that the QB releases the ball between 3 and 4 seconds. The average wide receiver can run anywhere from 25 to 35 yards in the time taken from the QB release to him.

Our passing game should incorporate more quick release throws between 5-10 yards and let the receivers do their thing!

It’s probably more like 2-3 seconds.

And yes, TVD seems to be processing much slower than that, and has much more time than that with the excellent pass pro he has been getting. Hope he gets it together.

There was one play in particular that drove me nuts. Think it was late in the third or early fourth …. But he had Brashard wide open in the flat. Had he hit him a second earlier, Brashard gets at least 7-8 and has only one man to beat. Instead, he either doesn’t see him or is waiting for his other read to come open, but he gets to Brashard really late who picks up maybe 1 or 2.

I’d like to see Lance highlight this play, amongst others, to see what he has to say about what TVD is seeing/doing.

You're ******* kidding me right?

I've seen it all now thanks to CIS.
