Uiagalelei is also intent on playing both football and baseball in college and has been watching what Kyler Murray is doing at Oklahoma

This is the kid for 2020 out of Cali. He is looking at schools that will consider letting him play both sports. Clemson, Alabama being two of the main ones. UGA is also recruiting a kid who wants to play both. This seems to be acceptable by a number of P5 schools these days. Bama has had a kid doing it for a couple of years. ( He is a senior now and decided to concentrate on baseball so gave up playing football this season.)

We certainly have a baseball program worthy of consideration. I wonder how the staff would feel about this - or if they would even look at this kid.

We are talking Miami qbs.
That makes no sense to just narrow that to Miami QBs..that just means we recruited the wrong QBs. there’s Miami QBs with no baseball background that didn’t pan out. It has nothing to do with them playing baseball. As far as the dual sport aspect, it’s far harder today with the demands these program put on these kids. Especially at that position.
