QB Question

I'd like to see some analysis of how each QB fared, and what the OL he had to deal with was like. I'm thinking it matters a lot to the numerics.

(edit: I guess good NFL draft "evaluators" can discern the "cream" even with bad OL, but still)

Oh so now it went from being drafted to would've been drafted, huh?? You're killing me smalls. Do you even know why he went to the NBA?? It's b/c that chump WAS NOT GOING TO BE DRAFTED IN THE FIRST ROUND AT ALL!. They had him listed getting drafted in the 3rd to 5th rounds at the earliest. LOL....what are you talking about??

He got Eason #1 overall to uga and Jarren Williams is an absolute stud imo. Much better qb than anything we’ve signed in a long time imo. More powerful arm and accurate than kaaya and is a pretty mobile and can throw on the run well. In addition to that there where plenty of talented of talented qb prospects last year and in particular the state of Georgia for him to be right after Lawrence and fields in the pecking order is still very good imo

I said he was trending down. 1 player being highly ranked doesn't change that fact. Jarren we will have to see, but the kid was an early enrollee and still can't start over Rosier. That makes me very wary about how good he actually is.

Richt has an old mind and is going to play someone who is going to play within his system and right now he’s betting on and playing experience over talent for whatever reason. Imo Williams should be playing, hopefully we get to see him some in the next few games.

Sometimes it feels like the secret mechanisms in place are intolerable. From what I've seen/heard, I agree Jarren has huge potential. So why hasn't he progressed more, gotten better snaps? Exactly why does Richt prefer a wobbling Rosier over a knuckleheaded Perry? Closed practices, lack of credible insider info; ahhh, its so frustrating. Hard to believe it's ONLY a Richts coaching trainwreck, but maybe.

Well, if he supposedly brought in quality QB's at UGA even till the end...perhaps the question should be what is wrong with Miami if he is no longer getting the top QB talent here?

So Williams ain’t a top qb talent? Top 5 nationally at his position and #77 overall in the country ...

isn't it funny how other teams can start, or play and have great success with true freshmen QBs (Clemson, Georgia, Bama and others)

why is Miami so different ? if Williams is a top-rated stud QB and we are struggling through a 5-3 season with a FIFTH-YEAR SENIOR FFS, then WTF isn't Williams on the field ?

Noooooooo, UGA Boosters got Eason. If Richt got Eason, he would've came w/ him to Miami.

I'm not going to knock Jarren at all. That was a God send and I think Jarren will be the goods. I saw him in that Army All American game and he looked good. The only problem was he kept under throwing Pope, but that's minor stuff. His accuracy, feet movement, and recognition had me excited.

Mark Richt has coached 2 Heisman QBs and if he is such a great developer of QBs and an offensive playcalling genius, then why aren't all the top QB prospects lined up and drooling to come play at Miami ?

Mark has been here 3 years now ..... the top rated QBs for the last 3 years sure as **** haven't even had the Canes on their radar.

I am sorry but it is Mark R's fault that we have M Rosier ... just bc Mark wasnt here when we recruited him is a weak excuse ... it has to be Mark R fault ............

maybe its because they have the same initials and both are under .500 completion % for a career.

there is a real bond there.
