He wasnt coming and we knew it so we latched on to Yearby who may have went elsewhere as well.
Cook had committed to like Clemson and Uf if i can remember...there wasnt anything saying we had a realistic shot.

We may not get him, but we all have to rewire our brains from the last several regimes. This is a professional organization now from the AD down. Mario has a reputation as a closer and has already pulled guys like Skinner and Citizen, who were also "courtesy" visits. May not happen this time, but I like Mario in my Corner over Billy.

He will not remain the 44th ranked QB in this class assuming he performs at the Elite 11 and follows that with an equally impressive senior season.
The kid was under the radar before. He will have all eyes on him this season. Especially being located in the panhandle with second tier SEC teams keepin tabs on him.

He’s actually the 63rd ranked QB in the class. His composite score is tied for 44th but there’s a bunch of other guys who are tied further up the list. He’ll have a shot to move up the boards but he’s already made the jump from unranked to 3 stars just by getting a Miami offer. My point is, even if he moves up, guys in his ranking range don’t really command big NIL deals. I’m sure if he sticks with Miami, he’ll do alright for himself though.
