Do you think we get to see Williams in any blowouts? depth chart has Perry and Weldon getting burn first, but is there enough to get Williams some game experience? Especially seeing that he "may" be the favorite to win the job next season imo.

No. We'll blow some teams out but getting 4 different QBs in a single game is a bit much. And honestly there's not much reason to put the 4th string guy in. Other than you saying it, why would he be the favorite next year?
 
He'll definitely play this year.

How much Weldon, Williams and Perry play will have a lot to do how they perform in live games.

I think Williams will do fine.
 
We will find out against Savannah State, but neither Perry nor Weldon has played a down here yet, so the nod will go to them first.
 
No reason not to let him run w third team vs savannah State.

Both Cade and NKosi need to get the most backup reps so they are ready immediately.

Williams will play some snaps for sure. Savannah State I would guess he gets a couple series. Richt does need to establish a clear cut 2 though between Weldon and Perry and the only way is to play them in games. I think Williams will probably see time vs SSU and possibly FIU. Anything beyond that will depend on differing factors.

Savannah state... Malik 1/2, Perry 1/4. Weldon 1/8 and Williams 1/8

Just my opinion through reading everything said about all 4 QB's for last 2years and performances, I just don't think Perry is who we hoped he was gonna be, and hasn't developed how we wanted... not saying the light can never "come on" for him, but I just feel Williams came in more polished and a more steady option with physical skills... Perry to me is a high risk/ high reward... will make amazing plays but probably turns it over a ton..... weldon, I'll admit I've just never given a fair shot at winning the job..

Richt definitely wants to get all the QBs PT including Williams. He said as much on Hurricane hotline, even wished how beneficial the redshirt rule changed would have helped last year.

Obviously we struggled with alot of teams last season but if we can put teams away early he will definitely try to get all the young qbs snaps.
 
With the new redshirt rule hey will be trying to get every single freshman some playing time. They would be insane not to get Williams some reps. A lot of people believe he is the future, and some minutes will certainly help him moving forward.

Question is, which game can we get 4 QBs playing time?
 
If we could get all 4 burn in SS / FIU and at least one out of (unc, duke, uva) that would be legit...
 
It's going to be difficult, but I'm hopeful they all get work because with what's setting up to be a helluva QB competition next season I believe the coaches would love to have game film to study and breakdown for the players in order to show them areas that need the most improvement. But the number one priority has to remain putting in the Co-#2s in situations where hopefully one can separate himself from the other and solidify the backup role. Once that's done, he should really be the only guy getting into the game in garbage time in order to get as much experience as possible. So my prediction is that, barring injury, If Williams doesn't get on the field vs. Savannah State or FIU, he's not going to.
 
I don't think I've ever seen a team play four quarterbacks unless at least one of them gets injured. If you consider the fact that neither N'Kosi nor Cade have played a down, it seems unlikely that Williams will see the field this season. Although if it does happen it will be against Savannah State.

How many did Clemson trot out on us in '15? I know they got at least 3 in, wanna say 4.

Between Perry, Weldon & Jarren, Weldon has turned it over way more than any of them. Even if you take Jaren out of it & compare Perry & Cade from their Freshman year, Weldon had more INT's in scrimmages. Same in High School, Weldon threw more INT's.

Weldon hadn't turned it on until early in Fall camp when he had a practice where he completed 85% of his passes, but in the final scrimmages had 3INT's. Weldon throws the most picks of the young QB's. But shows promise due to his lineage & background.

Perry's issue is consistency & running the Offense exactly the way Richt wants it done. Perry is a bit of square peg in a round hole so to speak. He's a Spread Option QB & has the tendency to want to run rather than sit in the pocket. His strengths are he has a huge arm, throws a nice Deep ball & can make plays in space. His weakenesses are inaccuracy & reading coverages.

Jarren is said to be the most accurate with his ball placement & he's probably a much better fit in Richt's scheme. But, he's also struggled picking up the Offense early & still makes Freshman mistakes.

Everybody is assuming Jarren will be the starter next year, but I honestly doubt Richt really wants to turn the reigns over to a Red Fresh. One thing in Jarren's favor is it's entirely possible either Perry or Weldon end up transferring next year, which would give Jarren more reps with the 1's.

I think Richt likes Cade a lot considering the relationship with his father, so I wouldn't be shocked if he stuck around & won the job. But, whatever people expect to happen next year isn't going to happen lol Everybody is penciling in Jarren & while I would love to see him win it too, I just know it's going to be a roller coaster that changes from week to week.

Then when we are up 5+ touchdowns and 2 minutes left, Williams comes in and hands the ball off to back a few times. Then on next play he takes a knee and waits for game to end. Game experience?
