QB depth chart for Thursday

Take out taxes and the agent's cut and 100k isn't that much. Also, bear in mind that most NFL players way overspend. Combine that with the fact that players who only make the practice squad will probably be completely out of the NFL in 1-2 years and it isn't that great at all.

If you want to make it in the NFL, you should bust your a@@ in college in the weight room and on game day, perfect your craft through the end of your senior year and then go pro (when you're completely ready to compete at the next level).
It's better than getting paralyzed for free and just getting the education. Maybe you aren't giving him enough credit and he's well aware of the situation and maybe making a better descion than you or I. I wonder how many porsters on here live there lives to same accountability they hold these kids to and make way way better choices. You'd think the way people post around here that everyone is Uber successful and every choice comes up aces.

Says you, many people on here disagree. I'm finding the ones that don't seem to be narrow minded and are quick to place judgement on others that they have no idea what they are talking about.
Oh I’m with you that the people on CIS are narrow minded and everything is negative judgement but to praise 100k for a short time frame isn’t smart by any means if you have the opportunity to make it long term. Unless there’s more in house that’s pushing him that way

The latter in your comment is what I'm implying.

Practice squad money is for 2 maybe 3 years. Does it lead to retirement? It’s a poor decision any way you look at it

Exactly.......these guys will go learn how to make other players get ready for their games why the sit around wondering why they are where they are at. Dumb decision to leave and sit at home on the weekends instead of playing. But you cant fix stupid

Nope, I didn't. But I'd bet you I made more at 25 than they will being unemployed and out of the league. Then again, that's not saying much.
How do you know they will be unemployed? And you're for sure they(not sure who they are)will all be out of the league in 3 to 5 years? Without going back to look at comments, I think your sediment resides with the fire Manny crew on up. So to think these kids are making good decision by staying would mean the staff you want out of here so painfully bad would actually somehow make him better all the while a risk for injury guarantees him (and this is not monetary) that he will NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO LIVE OUT A DREAM AND MAKE LITTLE CASH DOING IT. Besides what the **** does it matter you are not his dad and what was he really going to do anyways.

That sums it up. Pounding their chest in front of the mirror...

There is a strong possibility Tate is not even in game shape to be considered a starter.

He skipped practice at the end of last year and looked to transfer.

He skipped practice this year after being benched in one of the games.

No he did not take a leave of absence and vanish like Tate, but the act of defiance to team rules and being there with your teammates still stands.

Dude went straight up awol , if not for the seniors he’d be gone.

Jarren will not only start Thursday, but he will open next season as Qb1...

With Enos as the OC.

Happy Holidays, fellas.

Their dreams? Ha. These guys couldn't beat the man in front of them when they had CMU and FIU on their helmets, but they are going to shine in the NFL? Good luck with that.
