QB competition just got lit for next year.

When it’s non stop it’s time to call a spade a spade.
There are some posters who do it non-stop all over the place and they aren’t here right now - mostly what I would call serial board ruiners. Not sure this is on that level but I don’t follow everyone and everything. We’re trying to distinguish between tolerance of differing opinions vs miserable board ruining trolls.

If it’s an ACL, which I think it is, I would be shocked if King plays next season. Pray TVD is as good as hyped because it’s going to get ugly if he isn’t.

Nothing but love for King. He has some limitations, but he's a gamer that gives his all with no hesitation.

Perry, this was like a "f'you haters" type of performance. He has a live arm and of he can consistently do that, he deserves to play somewhere. Stone cold off the bench with 12 attempts on the season, fugg out of here. If he hadn't been here 17 years, people would be ****ting themselves on the potential. You all do know, players can improve and systems can improve players.

I'm not suggesting he be the starter or anything, just put some respect on that name. He deserves it tonight and so does King.

Will King be the same? Kosi showed out tonight, TVD, Jake. Buckle up.
Kosi coming in made me think Lashlee has to stop running king so much. Just play a drop back game. I’m not saying it bc he got hurt just saying he puts too much on kings shoulders. When kosi was in it was an offense for the unit not King to do it all. Looked very good surprisingly. Encouraged about the O next year. D is ******* gross and if manny keeps Baker then he’s a ******* Cuck loser that I will be rooting against until he’s fired. Now if he fires most of the defensive staff I’m back on board

That’s not kings game. You are either a runner or a passer. Never both. And those that are, are first rounders.

Well if u want to make it so black and white then I would classify king as a passer not runner

1) This isn’t 2005, King will be playing by September

2) Perry still can’t throw sideline to sideline

3) King is the starter

He isn’t a good enough passer then. I say he is above average at both. He needs to run to be successful.

Just let it play out . Let’s remember who N’Kosi had as QB coaches prior to Lashlee . Him showing improvement in a shortened camp with all this COVID sht going on , idk , kid clearly has the arm talent and seems to finally have his head on , maybe another full year under Lashlee he makes a real jump ? Writing him off for his performances with Jon fckn Richt and Enos as his coach is silly

Did we not see this before? Perry turned into superman in certain games. Stole the starting position from people like Williams and Rosier.

This was different.

Even when he played well he was Mayhem with the football.

He is a different player under Lashlee and will only get better in this system.

We have two good college quarterbacks. I am a N’Kosi fan, but expected the circumstances of his number getting called would be a disaster. He erased his prior failures with his performance and is our best option to win games if King’s injury is serious.

Not sure it matters who is the QB when the team misfires in so many ways. Unnecessary penalties, dropped passes, poor tackling, poor play calling. Look at Bama. Tua went down, but the team did not self-destruct and finished with a respectable 11-2 record in arguably the strongest conference. They have a system in place in which players perform their roles or they don't play. Keep mistakes to a minimum and play at a high level whether you are a starter or a sub. Miami doesn't have that discipline or system.

So the Brevin drop in the second to last series was a miss? Or how about the deep pass to Pope in the last series that literally dropped in his bread basket? Kosi didn't miss many throws. His receivers failed him.

yea those were drops but he threw behind WR on a couple slants also and also missed a wide open screen to Chaney that would have been a massive gain. Kosi played well but I still take King over him every day
