QB Coach

Fedora is getting the most heat. But that has absolutely nothing to do with the decision to excise the tumor that was the offensive staff. You’re linking things that have nothing to do with each other.

I suppose we’ll both find out soon enough what really went down.

Coley coming back and I’m not sure in what capacity, brad Kayaa mom absolutely loves the dude and was all hype about um last night. Figured it had something to do with coley

Coley needs bagmen to be great recruiter. He found Brad and the kid stayed loyal once he took off. That says more for the kid than some secret power of Coley. He did recruit the scourge of FSU, Rosier but I am sure who else of note. Guy has coached with enough big time names(except Golden) to have done much better for himself. If we are dipping into our past we have better.

Idk I might be reading to much into a tweet. But given Kayaa mom loves him and has nothing else to do with Miami, why the sudden overjoyed um love ?

Fedora will probably get free reign to hire his own staff. Btw I don’t want an air raid offense.
The offense the Bears, Chiefs and Rams is the offense we should run.
And yes Fedora runs an offense like that as well.
***** the air raid. You need a spread that runs the ball as much as it passes. Air raid couldn't run it if its life depended on it. Why Leach sucks.

You guys are acting like Fedora is Sean McVay. He’d be a great hire, but he’s not in a position to dictate all the terms. It’s a buyer’s market for offensive coaches, and he probably called Manny.
Love Sean McVay....would love that offense at Miami

Manny's swinging for the fences and Ponce is a double at best.

--You try and get Coley back home by offering him the gig. He will be expensive (base is 850 right now and he probably closed in on a million with bonuses), but he is worth it.
--If Coley says no, you gotta go after Tee Martin for the gig.
Why Tee Martin? Didnt he get stripped of the playcalling duties during the season?

I'd love for Rakeem Cato to get hired here as a QC or Analyst.

He was coaching QB's at Central in 2017 (don't know if he was in 18), but he's the kind of coach you bring on & groom him to eventually get elevated up after a few years.

He did, but it's more to it than that. Bring him in as a QB coach so he wouldn't have those playcalling responsibilities. He's a monster recruiter.

Ponce has actually coached QBs. He did it for 5 years at App State. We can question how good he is, but he aint Jon.
Ponce can talk his *** off u need a guy like him on the recruiting trails. Ots not just about coaching u need a guy that can do both.

GregOlsen88 @ twitter just wrote a glowing reference for Dorsey. He should know and he certainly cares about the Canes.

Congrats @Coach_MannyDiaz! If you want to help the offense you need to find a way to get Ken Dorsey on your staff. I’ve seen it first hand. You will get better immediately.

It makes a ton of sense. Smart guy who can learn the offense that hopefully Fedora brings. Still a name in the community. Could be the future OC when Fedora bounces. I'm not big on bringing back ex players but Dorsey seems perfect for the gig.

Maybe Dorsey is the “familiar face” Manny was talking about earlier. I would love to see him as QB coach and be groomed to eventually take over when Fedora gets another head coaching gig. Assuming Fedora is as good as advertised of course.

I'd take Graham Harrell as OC instead. Harrell is the next legit guy to come from that Leach tree, you could take the savings and really load up the position coaches. Fedora is solid, but his offense has looked like putrid dog crap over the least 3 or so years. It was his O, he ran it, he did everything, is he a guy that is coasting off of accomplishments from 10 years ago?

Say this for the dudes who don't watch Clemson, OSU and OU play on offense. Spread offenses leave wide open lanes to run the ball especially with explosive rbs and leads to other wide open lanes to pass it. I hate Leachs offense

I don't see Coley coming back unless he's OC. He's a QB coach and Co- OC on a top 10 team in Georgia making +800k .... Sure try him but if not I'm all in on the Dorsey QB coach train. Knows what it takes to play QB here. Can use his 5 years of coaching Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers in recruiting.
