The level of coaching and the offensive schemes taught down there are very much conducive to high level QB play. IMO, Texas is the new king of HS QB's over Cali these days.

Texas & Arizona QB’s run College style Offenses in High School, which is why so many of them transition really well into the College game & usually hit the ground running.

Hawaii is also a good QB factory as well.

Merklinger is, and I’m pretty sure so is Noland.

I haven’t seen these kids in a competitive setting (like a 7 on 7 tournament), but Dawson can coach it up apparently. We’d have to see this offense thru the spring (and Brown’s development with accuracy) to see what Dawson can do

Even if Miami does that, there’s a strong chance at least 1 QB transfers out if they don’t win the job next year. Always needed to recruit a QB every year even if it’s a depth guy like Matocha.
