Qb battle in the spring

Gotta start the best man dont care who it is whoever is the best. If Kosi the best play him if Jarren is better than Perry and Rosier play him we got too many ferraris to be playing scared it can be done. we better not play favorites. and hire a OC!!!!!

Let the best player play. Experience don’t mean sh*t and we saw that with Fromm and tua from Bama
 
Agreed, but if it’s Malik that’s not a good sign in my opinion. I don’t hate the kid and he made some big throws last season, but it’s quite obvious he’s not the talent level we need at this point.
 
I expect the best and most prepared man to win the job, why would they play favorites? If he wanted to start Malik again why would he open the competition up? And we definitely won't be hiring an OC this offseason so you guys can stop beating that dead horse. After he stated how much being able to call the plays meant to him when he got the job, do you really expect him to give it up after year 2 in which he won 10 games and the Coastal with a terribly inaccurate QB just to appease a few guys on the internet? Not happening.

Not judging his playcalling until I see a better QB back there!
 
QB battle don’t mean a got dang thing until our OL is fixed. Today was an example of what great OL work can do for a QB
 
Not a Rozier hater, but we need to start Perry or Williams. Rozier gave us one year and that should be it.

your whole premise is that we had the WRONG qb running the offense (an offense that performed very well statistically outside of 3rd down %)

assuming Perry and Williams are better than Rosier would lead someone to think our Offense will be even better next year, but na just change everything huh. Fans don't even know what to complain about anymore, at least stay consistent with it

has rosier graduated yet? he'll be a RS Sr... if he loses out to perry he will transfer out in the spring, then i'm sure despite knocking him all year and offseason half the board will meltdown and say we need him
 
The NC game proved that Freshman QB can play, granted they played behind a seasoned OL...

And that's exactly where we need improved play, on the OL, before we can take the next step. Gotta be able to block the Clemson's of the world, to operate at out best on offense.

I am sure this is always the though process.. Had Perry came in and set the world on fire and picked up the playbook sooner he would have gotten a shot. When all things are equal and the young gun doesn't know all the plays, audibles, etc why not go with the guy more comfortable and will not make as many mistakes. Now that Perry learned how to watch film, etc he will get a fair shot. Williams coming in early will give him an advantage Perry didn't have last year. Open the competition and the best man wins. Should make us a better football team next season.

2 EE QBs vs a kid that enrolled in Summer session 2 if you’re trying to say Nkosi could have played this year.

Next year is free game and no excuse for him not to play.
 
The best passer in game conditions needs to start. We are not going to out Bama bama. Uga tried and failed. We need a threat of pass so run does not face 7 or 8 in the box. Notice with all those great runners in the game, the win came on a pass. We need strong Cane style defense, good run game with long strike capacity and some one who can use our skill players all over the field. If Rosier is the best passer, then we are in trouble and Mark failed crucial recruiting need.
 
It would be absolutely idiotic to burn Jarrens redshirt, much worse that burning Perry's last year, say 8 games into season worth of learning playbook, practice and S&C. No way that should ever be done. Its dumb.

The favorite will be the one that makes the plays and limits mistakes. So by all means, play the favorite. Richt wants to win and isn't going to start someone he likes personally, but rather someone he likes his chances with on game day.

Yep. We need that deep ball to back defenses up. All we need is a QB that can hit guys in stride, and occasionally pick up a first down with their feet. We don't need Lamar Jackson or Dan Marino. We need a guy that can simply hit guys in stride. Get me that QB and you'll see our O explode. Also, I'd like to see a QB Richt trusts with all areas of the field. If I could see certain parts of the field looked off limits to Rosier, I'm sure DCs did as well.

He needs to get the back in the game, especially over the middle. Need to keep those safeties too worried about the to commmit to the run or helping cbs with WRs. Then our RBs out of the back field will be covered by all those big fat lbs built to stop Bama run game. Our target is Bama through Clemson.
