I think it’s more so let both of them play against a team we (should) beat soundly. And see what you have from there

I saw TVD a couple times in high school. and know one of his coaches.

He's a potential baller, but both he and Jake have a ways to go.

Both are very talented, but it's going to take a miracle fo them to play well, given the disaster of the OL, and the offense in general.

Plus, the defense will do them no favors, as it can't create short fields.

Keep your expectations low.

You have a point, especially since they are both really young. However, it should be a blowout this week. It’s against an fcs opponent.

This is a nice step-up game for them to get a chance to manage a game. It's going to be more of a challenge than high school but not the level of ACC .

Keeping expectations low makes sense given how the season has gone so far. All we know at this point is that there is potential on the team. I have been to some of the games this year, King balled last week, but it feels like there are some opportunities out there yet for this offense and Rooster is back in a week.

Since you saw TVD play in school school, did he have a good OL there? I went back and watched his Hudl and there is a ton of video of him having to move/escape the pocket.

his OL was average. He does have good feet. not King type feet, but good enough to be a chain mover
