Q for Pete or anyone...Early signing period

Since this is new to us, I wonder how big of a day it will be. Is it going to be covered in the news networks like the old national signing day with kids declaring? I'll be curious to see how many sign early, not just here, but across the country. NLOI was always fun in regards to recruiting, but will we now have two big days of fun or will the event now be diluted?
 
Probably diluted somewhat. But I would suggest that the most exciting ones being covered on that day were the ones that nobody knew where they were going. The undecided recruits. I imagine the ones who don't sign early will be many of these still, so it still should be exciting. We just won't be seeing all of the no brainer non surprising commitments

Never saw a list and certainly not an updated one.
Do you really think we'll 24? That'll practically be our entire class (and 4-5 more than we have now.)
 
I think the one thing that will be missing the first signing day is the surprises that you usually get.

The guys that will be signing will be guys that are expected for the most part.Being that this will only leave a few spots open the regular NSD will be somewhat anti-climatic.

But I will trade a surprise or two for knowing most of the guys we want are onboard and won’t be bolting or surprising US in the 11th hour.
