"I like to see the players do well and make plays. However, at the end of the night, I want VT to have a higher number on the scoreboard. It's of the utmost importance that we lose this game."
 
I want miami to win every game, I'm rooting for Miami to beat FSU. I also think we beat them just cause there due and its kind of poetic.

I also want Al Golden and Mark Dorito fired regardless, this isn't a championship staff and it won't turn into one so there's no reason to keep em.

Ultimately I'm a Homer so I can't foot for my team to lose.

^^^^^Basically this, in a nutshell.

I've rooted against my Canes to lose against VT and NC...but rooting for us to lose to FSU????...fck outta here. My dream scenario would be to drop every game EXCEPT FSU! It would have done (2) things for me personally; 1.) It gets rid of Al Golden and 2.) It shuts up all of these annoying *** bandwagon FSU fans up here in Duval Co..

OK, fair enough...but beating F$U would very likely be that "any situation where Al Golden is at Miami next year is a horrible thing for the program". You're OK with that, even though you admit to rooting against Miami in every other game?

Actually, getting blown out is not good for us long term. Its good for FSU long term, because that means they are going undefeated and have another shot at a Natty, which they can hold over our head in recruiting.
Golden isn't going anywhere, and a loss against the #2 team in the country isn't gong to change that.

Donofrio could make a case to stay if we play well on defense. My question is this though. The reason we want Donofrio gone is because we think the scheme sucks, and the evidence was how we played all last year, and this year against GT/Nebraska. BUT this defense has been clearly different the past 2-3 weeks. Yes, it wasn't against very good competition. But it has been aggressive (a lot more blitzing and man) and we completely shut those teams down. We haven't seen the ridiculous stuff we've been used to seeing. So, if Donofrio and Golden stick to this aggressiveness the rest of the season, and we stop FSU's offense, and play like we have the last 2 weeks against everyone else on our schedule, are all of you guys still really ****ed? I mean, the entire reason I want a diff DC is because this scheme hadn't produced. But if they stick to this adjusted scheme that has worked, and it continues to work, would all you guys not even care and still want a new DC, and start all over? It will be interesting to see if we keep up the aggressiveness and shut down teams Offenses how fans/administartion will respond.
 
Rooting for my Canes, against the coaches. Would like our guys to **** Alice and her bff in the *** and freelance to a win. How about that.

No, Alice told us the scheme has not changed. Those losses were ALL on the players.

Keep in mind though that this is coming from a coach who told us that our defense never played with the lead in the GaTech game.
 
Whether we like it or not, the powers that be will look at the last 2 wins as proof Al should stay. Since we are likely stuck with Al we might as well win and derail FSU title dreams.

Plus, if we lose Al will probably win out against the rest of the dregs we play and it will make me furious to watch him pound his chest after beating on a pack of lames. If I'm going to have to listen to slurpers all offseason, let's at least get 1 quality win. For my own sanity going forward, I hope we beat FSU.

I wrote that and don't have a problem with what I wrote.

I still feel we are in better shape long term with a different coach. When I'm watching the games, I still want Miami to win despite my feelings about Golden. The players deserve Ws. It took him 3.5 years and some serious heat from media/fans for him to play aggressively vs inferior opponents. 4 years and no coastal championships. I don't understand how any fans can think mediocrity is fine.

I fully expect to lose to FSU, it's sorta become a habit now.

We lose two more games, we still win.

We did it a number of times, especially line slant and move the LOS yesterday kid. Yes there was some frog sighting but there was also other stuff going on.

Also there were 2nd down blitzes that we haven't seen much of at all this season. Not sure what you were looking at out there yesterday son.

Moronic Cane fans have stated they were rooting for Vtech and even one idiotic "Cane fan" constantly kept saying "lets go Hookies" . So, if some fake Cane fans have rooted for vtech then they are rooting for fsu.

This thread has been going for awhile now, and those same trolls that root for UM to lose, such as WhoopingCane, still haven't come in here and put their name on it yet. The irony is insane.
