OP people for years have been trying to use your type of reasoning to justify sports outcomes....In algebra I believe it's called the transitive theory... It has been proven time and time again not to mean ****... What another team or tram does has absolutely no effect on how we look at all.... Our passing offense looked like **** all night only pass we could complete was a WR screen... End of the day we do look better hen last year but spare me the results of other teams.... U claimed we would be blow out FAU and my eyes don't deceive me and all though the game was never really in doubt due to our defense it was far from a blowout even if we won 38-10

Surely not the end of the world but scary to think about the quality of opponent and the results.

This defense? WOW is all I can say. The DL pressure is amazing. The LB are looking good. The pass D needs work though. The corners have been ok, definitely need Colbert back by FSU. All in all this defense is awesome and I cannot wait to watch it again! When was the last time you said that about a canes D?

I hope they play tighter coverage from now on. If the rush didn't get to Driskel, the WR's were wide open most of the night. Time to trust the DB's a little more.

The Coastal sucks. Miami has UNC and a bunch of nobodies currently. They should win the division with their eyes shut.

Agree that the coastal sucks, but I also think Pitt will be a tough game later in the year. They have a solid coach and a great tailback; they also had a nice win vs. Penn State yesterday. I personally think they are better than UNC this year, but we will know more if they also beat Oklahoma State next week.

Im not a big fan of using the spread to evaluate a game, but when playing lower level opponents, I think the spread has some value. The Canes were a 24.5 point favorite and they won by 28. I guess there's something to be said for that.

You should get more involved....the spread is the most accurate thing going.
