Put Malachi Toney in at QB

I just assumed we had some wildcat stuff in the bag given Toney’s experience and game-breaking ability.

So either we don’t, which is kind of weird, or we do and we’re…saving it for a really critical situation?

Which is also weird seeing as how we JUST HAD ONE.

We ran 2 plays where he got the ball and was looking to pass. The 2 point and earlier in the game where CJ couldn’t hold his block and Toney had to run. So he’s already drawn up some of those plays.

Yep, forgot those.
Issue was he ran it to the short side of the field and had little space on the first one.
Would love to see him setup in the wildcat
 
Yea I don’t know why we would do such a thing. Why confuse the other team and have their heads spinning on d with who’s to do what…

Sure didn’t work for Louisville first two drives of the game lining up 3 qbs at once on the field… 😗

I dream of days of some innovative play calling where the d has no time to adjust on the fly! Brohm gets it..
 
Some wildcat plays, maybe. They tried to lateral and pass from Malachi, but Louisville sniffed it out. Might’ve worked had Malachi had another second to get the pass off. If I recall correctly, the target was open.
 
If Beck is turning into TVD right in front of our eyes, I would much rather see Mr.Florida aka Baby Jesus.

But I think Beck will bounce back.. at least I hope so
