Some asshat on Twitter (Clay Travis) was trying to clown him and Miami and claimed he had multiple arrests etc. and the morons believed him.

Leave school for two years on a Mission return and play until your 25 at BYU...cool
Come from another country, play Juco, sign with Miami...that should be illegal!!!

I just looked it up and you are correct, however, do you know who on staff is going to help him with his form? Feagles also averaged 38 yards per punt his freshman year.

Your point is well made.

With that said, not worried one bit--but will after game #3 if he doesn't live up to what is expected of boots from Down Under.

As I understand, his average was low because of his supposed excellent placement. He was used more to put it inside the 10 than to boom it 60 yards.

AGAIN, I'm basing expectations on what most quality Aussie/Kiwi types can do. To be honest, if his booming punts average less than 45 yards, I will think he underachieved. Also, if his targeted punts dont at least land inside the 15 (or go out of bounds same), that would be disappointing as well. I've seen quality kicks that these guys could put out of bounds easily at the 5 without any stress and blindfolded. Goodness sakes, Aussie/Kiwi teenage girls could out perform Feagles.

I think Louie Louie could also be a legitimate running threat in 4th-and-short punting situations at mid field. Particularly if the Miami D is playing well that day.

This man is getting off the bus for Cane walk and you can bet his duffel bag is holding his favorite Aussie 6 pack. "Its game time mate, loosen up" as he smashes two cans on his head and chugs. He might be my new favorite player.

He seems a perfect candidate for an afternoon class at the Bosher School of coverage.
