Gotta go the middle school football route on this one:

1. Put all players in a single file line
2. Each player gets one punt
3. Top ten distances advance to second round
4. Each top 10 player gets a second-round punt.
5. Advance to third round if necessary.
6. Distribute orange slices.

It's always been a coaching thing. Those clamoring it was a talent issue last year didn't have the fortitude to realize we had a major deficiency that was more complicated then just getting some talent in here.

I know it's part joking but you ain't wrong. The issue with PR coverage is twofold - sh1tty punter and questionable personnel. There's a mismatch of personnel on the team and as I've stated before...anytime you have a punt return team that consists of knowles, bethel, DJax, LS, Spicer, MSmith and Dean, you ain't getting many stops if Homer misses that first tackle. We have 2 DTs on PR coverage, for crying out loud. So, by that count, that's HALF of your players are not adequate. Why not use guys like DSmith, Hall, Steed, Jennings, Jordan, Lorenzo, et al? Same deal with KO coverage units except less so b/c you have more of those guys on it.

PR blocking isn't bad - just wish the gunner blocker would block better. I liked the new 2 returner wrinkle we have now.

KOR blocking is a disaster.
