PULL BECK….

He started very slow but didn't have a terrible night.

18/24 247 yards 1 TD
He also caught a TD pass.
He was MID today, slow af running the ball, sliding 3 yards too early & trying his best to give the ball to the other team…his best play was the TD to Marion which while viewing the replay was still one them throws where if a guy like Cam makes it u chalk it up to supreme confidence + arm talent, but with Beck it feels like a lucky it didn’t get picked off throw lol idk how to explain it. The play calling was much better in the 2nd half especially in the run game & misdirection but we have to start the game with the same approach not at halftime.

Feels like we are the only team that doesnt script a drive coming out. We just line up and test the A gap.

Please give me a break so many drop passes and he has his moments but a veteran and he's not the reason we are down. He is a small part of the problem.
HERE’S YOUR BREAK…..WHEN YOUR QB IS SUPPOSED TO BE A STRONG “LEADER” BUT PLAYS LIKE A SCARED LITTLE V@G!NA, HE’S DOING NOTHING BUT TAKING SNAPS AWAY FROM A QB WHO HAS A HEART….BREAK THAT

Those first couple of weeks it looked like our oline was pushing ppl around having their way
Then it suddenly disappeared after FSU because teams started loading the box and we never adjusted…seems like we wanted to prove we can out muscle a loaded box just to stick to our down n distance philosophy smh.. the second half of last night is how they need to call the rest of the season if we are gonna have a chance…

I support OP on this one. Beck is doo doo. When you're in the stadium you can tell that he's not seeing the field and missing plenty of open receivers.

Moreover, Ive never seen a college football player (kicker , punter, long snapper, etc.) that is more contact-adverse than Carson Beck. Dude needs to run tough and get some critical first downs with his feet. He's big enough to take on DB's.

I support starting Emory. At least he's tough.

It seems to me like he has trouble anticipating. He never seems to throw to spots or throw guys open.

He is not what I thought we were getting coming into the season. But he is still good enough to win a playoff game or two. Need him to play clean football.

If that LB just put his hands up its deflected. But it was a laser.

At this point I really dont see Beck as an asset. I tend to think this team would be 7-2 if Emory was starting. As you alluded to, Beck seems to throw a lot of jump balls to guys in their general direction. I think he sort of got away with a few of them early in the season (CJ Daniels catch in the ND game) and it fooled us.

I do NOT see him being able to win a playoff game for us, especially with his soft running style.

That TD pass to Marion against Syracuse yesterday was an interception against a competent team.

Also, Beck seems to lack zip. Might be a confidence thing but his balls seem to come out slow (and no that's not a pun for his fear of running into contact - lol)

Ok, I'll play Mr. OP

Beck is bad, should not be in, so who exactly will you inset for guaranteed better results.

I"M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE IRREFUTABLE OPTION.
