Just listened to Maria cantwell for 2 minutes talking about a woman pole vaulter at Washington, who is number 1 in the country, having her roster spot threatened if this bill doesn’t pass and it was the dumbest **** I’ve ever heard

I know people wanna blame coaches, and there a few to blame, but overall it’s not their fault. It’s not because athletes are getting paid either. It’s because billionaires and millionaires start an arm’s race for players by putting any amount of money into their school’s program.. .

That’s great for the Canes, also the amendment to limit 3rd party NIL from Sen Britt never made it to vote. I think that helps Miami given our ability to do larger 3rd party NIL deals. While I still hope the PCSA dies in the House, it is better now.

Chances we stick with FSU appear to be slim to none if it this cap were ever implemented; but it won’t be given the house etc

House votes bill out of committee first then they need majority to pass the rule to move forward to take up the final vote

It’s the House rules committee. Everything has to get through that committee to hit the floor and House leadership has had more than a few issues wrangling items through it.

Exactly. I want it dead completely, but if they’re absolutely dead set on passing it getting the extra spot for the B1G would be a small silver lining.
