Dorian Hall-South Broward-Ath.-2017- Hall is a legit 6'3-6'4. Played quarterback his junior season....Now is a DB.....He is going to blow up this fall. Very good athlete....can play multiple positions. Performed well at FSU camp and left with an offer.

Michael Penix-Tampa Bay Tech-2018 -QB- Reallyt like this kid. He was also at FSU camp. Kid can flat out throw the football. Reminds me of Brent Schaeffer who played at Deerfield Beach, went to Tennessee...More accurate throwing the football down the field. He has a very good arm and can make every throw. Good kid as well.

Joe Milton-Olympia-2018 QB-Think Milton could end up a national recruit. Big time arm....big time. He has a cannon. He is also big....6'4 and looks it when you meet him in person. Needs to work on his footwork, and mechanics but the physical tools are there.

Jashaun Corbin-Holy Trinity-2018-RB- I know many discuss James Cook.....Trust me this kid is the real deal. Big and can flat out run....Saw him at FAU Summer Camp and he was the best player there. Does not take long to get to top gear.....Competition is his main drawback but comes from Same High School as Marcus Maye who starts at UF...This kid is better.

Alvin Howard-Key West-2018-Ath.-Not often kids come from Key West High School...Went down there last year to watch a game...Howard can play running back, receiver, defensive back...He is a versatile athlete who can play anywhere ont he field.

Jacob Copeland-Pine Forest-2018-WR-Would think with Miami ties to Pensacola area....Miami would have a legit shot at this kid....Kind of a thick body receiver.....think like Aquan Boldin or OLD school....Eric Moulds....Has good but not great top end speed...Good hands / runs solid routes.

Issac Lipscomb-Homestead-2018-WR-GROWN MAN.....Here is a kid that does not look like he should be in high school. He is raw but the physical talent is there......

Bryce Oliver-Dillard-2018-WR-One of the better receivers in Broward County....Has size and speed. He has the ability to stretch the field and get behind a secondary.



DJ Edwards-Palm Beach Lakes-2018-WR-Big time potential.....One thing he can do is run....Edwards has the potential to score anytime he touches the football....Very similar to stacy coley....he was injured this spring and that hurt his recruitment.

James Bostic-Cardinal Gibbons-2017-WR- Fastest rising star....kids father played at Auburn. I feel Bostic is one of the top 2-3 receivers in Florida...He was the best receiver at three satellite camps I went to.....



Cameron Jonas-Dwyer-2018-Ath.-Remember this kids name...
He is one of the best looking prospects in person....plays some receiver but will end up at safety...He is a big time talent. He will have every school in the country on him.

Jesuaun Jones-South Ft Myers-2018-Ath. -Jones is not Sammy Watkins good....But watch out for him....He made every defensive back he went against this off-season look terrible. Very good athlete....runs very good routes and catches everything....

Robert Reeves-Pensacola-2017-LB-One of the reasons I like to go to FSU Summer Camp....they get a ton of kids from Pensacola...that you dont get the chance to watch often....Reeves performed very well at the camp....Has the height 6'2....little thing (195)....Feel he has the frame to get to 225-230. He is going to fly under the radar....but a prospect I like.

Jordan Wright-Dillard-2017-DE / Stephon Zayas-Dillard-2017-DE

Put both of these guys together....Wright and Zayas are two of the most underrated players in this years class...Wright is the better player now...Zayas could have more upside....Both are over 6'4...Wright has a Miami offer....Both are fast twitch, up the field, pass rushing machines....Wright will be 255-260 in college....can Zayas put on weight...that is the big question.

Gurvan Hall-Palm Beach Lakes-2018-DB-When most talk about 2018 DB.....Patrick Surtain name always pops up....Hall is not too far behind....This kid is an elite defensive back. He is fast twitch....has great hips. can turn and run.....has great feel and anticipation....He is a special talent.

Kenih Lovely-Dwyer-2018-CB-Will be one of the top defensive backs in South Florida next year. Kid competes....Wants to be the best and will challenge a receiver. He has very quick feet....can get good inside position on a receiver.

Na, he plays horrible comp, on a losing team with underwhelming production. We used to call people like him Al Golden specials
 
Since we are trying to build, I don't want any kids w the word "potential" associated with them. Potential kids are 30/70 impact kids (30% they will live up to their potential/70% they won't). We need 80/20 kids here...the more 80/20 kids we have around, then we can get those "potential" type kids who will then become 50/50 based upon their surrounding and competition. No more reaches...either they are or they ain't. We're not in that position, depending on how stellar this 2017 class may be, until like 2020.

Pete, why so few RB target? McFarland and Burns or bust? We've seen that story play out badly in the past. DB list getting too short, too. I hope we win big this Fall. Then all bets are off. But that's a big gamble.
 
Just so many players in the state and SoFl. I'm sure it's a difficult task for the staff assess and determine based on needs who to offer. We should be satisfied we now have a staff who can do this very well. Many of these have been or will be offered but not all can come to The U. I'm so happy we have a staff who can compete for top prospects.

Would you rather have 4 RB's committed while openly recruiting 2 more and end up with just Mark Walton?

Yep. I brought up Edwards not too long ago and got flack for it from the guys on the board who don't know why they're talking about. The guy has size, deep speed, and excellent short area quickness. The arguments against him(see above) are generally insular, ignorant, and short-sighted in order to argue for the sake of arguing.

a must get, better than the 2017 commits we have now
 
Apparently Edwards already 'blew up' according to the child genius zbrod yet the kid was injured in the spring and wasn't evaluated yet by a lot of programs except the mid ones. There is nothing underwhelming about Edwards except the poor analysis done on him on this board.
