Indeed.

Better penetration upfront

Aggressive linebacker play

Better secondary coverage. It seemed as though we played more cover-1 early on

Better tackling, and just a total better effort.

Gotta give credit where it is due.....D

This game showed that they were being hard headed deliberately. They realize it was gonna be melt down mode if they lost to Duke. Now the thing is to see if they will go back to forcing what hasn't work or stick with what they did tonight. Maybe Golden finally had a word with No D or something. But I didn't see 6 v 8 very much and that was the key to stopping Duke from running it much. I'm sure they will come up with a decent plan v GT.

Much better gameplan and aggressive approach- just leaves me wondering why did the D not play this way last week

Coaches please dont aggravate the **** out of me by just saying the guys executed better. They were finally put in position to make plays and they responded. Go Canes!

This board is nutz. Talking ****e even after a great game. Fact is 90% of posters don't know ****e about what they are talking about. Haters everywhere whether they are fans or trolls. Hard to be on here if you are a true fan.

Glad to see some positivity in threads like this one at least.

We were outnumbered v Nebraska. They run almost the same formations Duke run and we kept both safeties back all game pretty much. Force Boone to beat you with his arm and what do you know.....He couldn't do it. Sometimes the smartest people are the dumbest ones because of it.

But can 'Onfrio show the mental flexibility to adjust his scheme to GT's flexbone? Jury is out, I'm going to the ATL to see if it happens in person.

That 6 vs 8 was present during Duke's only score.

Yep, I don't know why they do it. I didn't say I didn't see it at all, I said not very much.
