Progress - Testament to Manny Diaz

Always moving the goal post. If it's not @Pitt, then its @FSU. If it's not @FSU, its vs UL. If it's not vs UL its @BYE_Week.

OL playing so much better and could be scary next year because they all should return. The snap counts on the DL are fixed and the right guys are playing. Tackling on D has been much better. The rhythm is there for the offense and Jarren is noticeably settled in.

Lots to look forward to. I think we’re officially in the true judgment period for manny Diaz. Most of the things you have to overcome as a new HC have settled. Now, we can truly gauge where thing are on game day. Then, let’s see him recruit and close on the trail... he could be selling a 9-4 product if all goes smoothly with a 6 game win streak. Hope the momentum follows

We have 3 games left. Let’s see how we look in January. Good three weeks. The bigger marker I want to see is what manny does in recruiting. He’s not a good recruiter. If we can go 9-4 and finish in the top 15 in recruiting I’m feeling a lot better
Yes, finishing the season strong and upping our game on the recruiting trail will be keys to the success (or failure of the Manny Diaz era). I'm fairly confident about the team finishing the season strong. Recruiting needs to pick up. The last few games have been huge for recruiting (quality wins that have showcased the true potential of the offense).

What makes him not a great recruiter? Hes a very good speaker so he should be a good recruiter

Not sure how he got that bad rap. He is a good seller. Had us all going with TNM, turnover chains, etc. Recruiting is basically selling. He just has to back it with a good product.

We would absolutely destroy all of them right now

Add UiF in there as well

Even with the terrible start, the team had at least two extra wins with Price

As someone mentioned in another thread. Dream scenario is rematch with Ufag in the orange bowl. That would turn this disappointing season into a successful one.

I've asked this question on the site before with no answer so I'll ask you as well. Where does this narrative come from? He's got a pretty nice 2020 class committed right now and has had some pretty impressive commits (Chaney, Chantz Williams, etc.) under his watch.

If we finish 9-4 that’ll help recruiting

I'm feeling more optimistic than I thought was possible. Big turn around since GT debacle. How we finish is everything. Let's Go Canes!

The Duke game for me is the key...that long walk to the locker room and how we overcome it is key....;).

In all seriousness, you look at what ND is doing to them tonight. The game should not be close as long as we remember who has athletes and who does not. Miami has done a good job over the last few weeks of remember its talent level. Hopefully that continues into the next few weeks and the bowl game....
Well said. It looks like we have the confidence to even look past Butch (not that I want them to). But Duke will be the key to capping off the winning streak heading into bowl season brimming with confidence to keep this program achieving new highs heading into next year. That is how champions are born! Then the work really begins.

For now, one step at a time!

Good progress but he's not out of my woods yet. Win a bowl game, recruit well, upgrade at OC and DC, and I'll forgive the ****** losses early in the season. The offense still doesn't look all that good at times and Baker is a dead man walking.

But he can work the portal well and we will continue to be an attractive spot for journeymen amateur college football players.
