I'd have to say yes to all. We are nowhere near where we want/expect to be (OL, Special Teams, etc), but I feel like we are continuously getting better as a whole.
At the end of the day, that's just about all anyone can ask for at this point (Given how terrible we've been for the last 15 years).

Oh, and Dabo Sweeney's record in year 3 at Clemson? 6-7

When you are better, yet still loaded with freshmen playing, it's a decent sign of things to come. The kids we have brought in are difference makers, and they are showing that every week. It just takes longer to get the O line up to par because it often takes 2-3 years to develop them. We are almost there.

Progress (Small Picture)

Going into Charlottesville at night to an inferior roster and not letting them hang around making them look better than what they really are and having the game over by halftime.

Here's the thing, it should be know question in anybody's mind that we got the right man for the job in coach richt, who just so happens to be alumni which makes it even better and add the fact that he came up under coach schnelly. The progress in this team has been evident from conditioning/s&c program, to player development, to recruiting, and even facilities.

So under coach richt we will always have a talented team, just think about how when coach richt came in an immediately said we dont have any receivers that'll just blow by people, in no time flat he had 2 of the best wideouts in the country on the roster in Ahmon and jt money. Got runningbacks running sub 4.3's and 4.4's.

The 4-3 defense got brought back with the quickness and the speed is starting to comeback on the defensive side of the ball as well. The problem is to many people want #6 to quick, instead of enjoying the journey back to the top. So even if we get back to the ACC championship game, does anyone here think we got a championship o-line at present, so personally, if we play clemson again, to beat them with our current o-line would show exactly how good of a coaching we have that richt put together. The real, progress is that we're competitive again and can win almost any game, as the talent develops and more talents comes in, we're going to be right back to this in no time flat:

But that was the same notion against FSwho... have the game over by halftime. And U saw what happen in that one! Thankfully the defense SAVED CMR's ego and what not!

Also alot of people want to know or see a video of the speech jaquan johnson gave at halftime of the Fsu game, their might be one but in the meantime i remembered a few speeches he gave in highschool at the beginning of this video but particulalrly at the 6min:16sec mark of this video, i knew than years ago before he signed that he belonged here cause he thought and thinks just like we do, this'll give yall a better idea who and what we got in jaquan, and a real good idea about what was said at halftime:

Agreed. We are making progress...albeit not as quick that I'm sure pretty much ALL of us want. We all have super high standards based off of our history (myself included)...so that's all we know and all we can judge CMR and the team by (yes it's unfair). I certainly think we're on the right track to get into that second tier behind (BAGA, OSU, Clemson...I'm not putting UGA in that category just yet) in the next year. While I love what CMR has done thus far in resurrecting the program as a whole, I still wonder if he has the killer instinct to get us into that top tier. Time will tell...but I'm just enjoying it for what it is NOW!!! After the last 15 years it can only be seen as a positive where we are RIGHT NOW.

I love our progress considering how long it's been, but I think in all honesty believe our recruiting and performance would be enhanced by hiring a Pro Spread, multiple set high caliber OC.

I think one has to take into consideration the NCAA cloud that severely impacted our recruiting from basically 2009 to 2016 when our probation ended. FSU got good because they got the best players because the NCAA dragged the investigation out for far too long. Now that we can recruit without the cloud over us, we are more competitive again. It may take another year or two to get all of the depth filled but we are getting there for sure.

We're definitely trending up. Hard to argue with that notion. In terms of end of 2017 season results vs end of season 2018 results, still too early to tell. Let's first wipe out a few of these "lesser" teams on our upcoming schedule.

Actually think it would fit Kosi's (and our teams) skillset better as well.

/Might have it as 17>18 OP, not that it matters. Lost a ton of depth/experience

wont happen idk why it even gets brought up around here. as long as Richt is at Miami he will be the OC. Period.

Sucks but its reality.

Agreed, Richt will remain OC until he decides what path to take next. I’d prefer a true OC just so he can focus on managing the game and not knee deep into what the offense is doing (ala fixing the ST nightmare). As to the improvement, yes we are seeing it each year and I think when 2018 is all said and done that we will have improved by at least another W. CMR definitely has Miami back on the path to greatness again - the question is can he get us all the way there, sustaining excellent seasons and sprinkling in CFP appearances; even winning outright the Natty? That remains to be seen

I am concerned that our defense is not young with certain key players
