I know it’s Mario’s fault, but Don Chaney did not fumble that ball vs GT. I will ask God at the gates of heaven if he thought that was a fumble I swear to it lmao 8-4 woulda gave us a lot more hope at the time.
It changed the entire tenor of the season. There's no way of knowing where everything goes, but I doubt we finish worse than 9-4 if that bull**** never happens.

And are we sure it was actually Mario’s call to do another run? Thought there was video that came out of Mario on the sideline telling Shannon “we should probably take a knee here”, and Dawson as we know called another run play.

Team had way too much talent to lose 12 games the first 2 years. Debacles like the GT kneel game.

But, Mario can recruit and talent always wins out. In a good place now.
I think if Mario took some truth serum and was asked if he would have been more cutthroat with the roster he inherited, Mario would say yes.

Mario tried to give guys on that roster a shot and also didn't want to coach Oregon's roster and recruiting class. I bet Midway through the MTSU game, Mario regretted keeping the **** pile of a roster Manny left him.

I think it was Maribel who said we should take a knee, but Mario wanted Chaney to get his 100 yards. Clearly, Mario rewarding a kid's effort and resiliency backfired.

put this in another thread, but this might be a good location....

Mario's tenure, so I found an interesting stat I couldn't look for anywhere else, so I reproduced it. After Mario's first season here, he hasn't got blown out since. Since that point, he has ONLY had 2 double digit losses, and that was 10 and 14 points. That's kind of an outstanding point, in that every loss since his first season has been tight. That first season was rough, but progress has been made every year and we are not a laughing stock with losses since 22

I hope this was a wake up call for Mario and his conservative play when we get leads. Every week you need to prove a point and show up every game. Don’t stop until the clock runs out
He surely understands that now would be insane for him not to learn that lesson..resume matters beat every opponent down for 60 minutes n leave no doubt as to your status as a playoff contender

The anti Mario fools hate that they were wrong
They feel better when we lose

Most the fools posting in Manny won ACC disappeared yesterday
**** was crazy there was dudes on here sucking off manny for winning the Dog**** ACC and saying we were done & we will never be relevant under Mario blah blah blah.... most of em simply refuse to reply n ignore you when u tag em n call them out like that clown who was posting 8-4 all season 😂😂😂😂

Our QB play those first two years was abysmal..this trend of top portal guys is proving to be a lifesaver until we can develop a playoff level QB recruit.

I was ****ed at Meathead but am thrilled for Mario seemingly turning the corner this November
I’m hopeful he’s learned to let it rip all the time and play to crush teams!!!!

I give him a ton of credit and am even referring to him by his name….hes earned it!!!

Excellent job Mario!!!

I am happy today but most importantly I am happy with the trajectory of the program. Win or Lose on Dec 20th, think about this:

Year 1 - 5-7
Year 2 - 7-5
Year 3 - 10-3
Year 4 - 10-2 (Playoffs)

The foundation has been built and today was an important brick!
