Can we stop with the Clint Hurtt stuff? Jesus...

Give me a DC who runs few coverages out of many disguises. Not deep into potential DCs yet tho...

[TheChosenOne]

I just want a DC who has actually coached P5 football and has come from a respectable coaching tree.

Colorado had a horrible defense last year then they went and got a NFL Ravens guy. They improved by a lot.

You know you've hit rock bottom and we're looking at how Colorado does things.

1. I wasn’t advocating for him in my list
2. I did a similar list when we were replacing Gattis and Shannon Dawson was on it

[TomAce]

Brad White.

I know you didn't, but I don't want to have that dude come up in discussions again. People need to get this out of their head.

I need to look into the advanced stuff before picking candidates.

All I'm saying is Colorado didn't take any chances looking for answers in the group of 5 coaching pool like we always do. That's why we've been as bad for so long. We keep looking for coaching answers in the group of 5 then we are shocked when we look like a G5 offense/defense.

Someone else mentioned the name Clint Hurtt, but he’s coaching DL on the Eagles and I’m not sure if timing would work out, also he’s been outa the recruiting game for many years

Mario Cristobal is still your coach. It does not matter. We have tried the fire coordinator and assistant coach thing already...

[Dgixxer252525]

Randy Shannon

[Noahcane]

I would've already been on the phone with Ryan Walters.

That's all I'm saying, get a ravens guy. Didn't even know Colorado did that, makes sense now..

Get a MacDonald/minter guy and call it a day..

[ageezy]

i want somebody that can keep us sound ... i felt like alot of our beef is because we couldn't get the simple things right

[CBurrr93]

It really can’t be that hard. I watch other games and wonder how they don’t make defense look like an impossible task

[edge]

Randy Shannon

You joke. But honestly with Shannon we would be undefeated. His defenses could set the edge, play cover 2 and not get beat deep.

Now that’s exactly how I know Guidry is a lot of the problem

I go out of my way to watch other CFB teams, with lesser athletes, and their alignment, technique and fundamentals are clearly better

[redcane]

Phil Parker, Iowa DC. But he may be head coaching in waiting situation in Iowa.

[DamienCane86]

Either someone with P4 DC experience or someone from the NFL. Need someone who can stress fundamentals, recruiting can take a back seat to that, especially if JT & D Nic are retained.

The Miami way lol nothing can ever be easy

too old to want to come here. Midwest lifer , probably wants nothing to do with us regardless on top of the fact he's thought of as a god here in Iowa.
