I remember the Spring game last year where he was absolutely unstoppable. Some guys even then thought it was just because of the vanilla play calling. He then proceeded to put up historic numbers for us. ... Doesn't matter who Cam's opposition is, he's going to cut through them like a hot knife through butter.

I think he's played himself into a spot. Like others on here noted, Titans are super thin at WR. He's making catches for all the QBs in practice, not just Cam. And the coaches like what X can do on STs as well. Add in all the work ethic and leadership traits, he's the type of player you reward for doing what he's being asked to do.
