looking like we’ll hold strong at 4 proCanes in league; and many more overseas hooping for top Euroleague teams. We’re in a bit of a flux period as Bruce Brown’s good play has him making a strong case to make the Knicks. Knicks also need a third string center so TBD. BB might get picked up in December to avoid the 2nd apron by the team so not all is lost if he doesn’t make the team this week.
We have:
James Jones working as the executive vice president and head of basketball operations for the NBA aka league office.
Tre Donaldson on a 2-way contract with the Miami Heat.
Jordan Miller on a multi-year deal with the Los Angeles Clippers as he recovers from his torn rotator cuff. He’ll be with honorary ‘Cane Jay Larranaga who has been an assistant since Ty Lue became the head coach.
In 2021, Jay Larranaga became an Assistant Coach for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Kyshawn George entering a pivotal pre-agency ‘contract’ year with the Washington Wizards who have looked great in preseason. He has maintained his starting 2 guard spot over 5th overall pick Tre Johnson as well as Bub Carrington who was taken fourteenth in the same draft Ky went 24th in.
In Cleveland, our guy has his third preseason game tonight:
Bruce Brown also has a preseason game tonight.
Keep an eye out for and please post any transactions relating to the following players whose place of work will be in flux:

Omier signed w/ a team in Spain however looks like he got another opportunity to prove himself. The Timberwolves are short on 4s or small ball 5s w/ the departures of Reid and Randle. They view McDaniels solely as a 3 which has Kuminga as a 4. Omier would be a strong, ground-based contrast to Kuminga’s bounciness as a roller.
Opportunity i see for Omier to stick in the league would be if the Timberwolves cut Enrique Freeman from his 2-way contract and replaced him with Omier. TBD.
Lonnie Walker, recently waived by the Nuggets; signed with a Euro-friendly agent.
We will get see Shane Larkin at the FIBA World Cup next summer representing Turkey. Turkey was the First Nation, besides the host country of Qatar, to qualify.
Add any guys still hooping professionally that i missed; or any ‘canes succeeding as coaches, basketball ops, etc.
