with Lonnie coming back to the nba, I peeped we didn’t have a place to update how our pros are doing.
 
It appears Norchad was let go by the Clippers as they decided to add the league’s tallest player Jamarion Sharp as their bigman on a 2-way contract.

Thought we were going to get a pair of ‘canes on two different teams out west, yet that seems highly unlikely now.

Looks like if Norchad doesn’t find a spot for himself somewhere (the Heat should sign him on a 2-way, but i digress), he might end up at FC Barcelona basquet, which is the best spot outside the NBA tbh.

 
Lonnie Walker is a non-guaranteed deal however he appears likely to make the team given the lack of roster-moves Denver has made. . . . Could get dicey if the Nuggets get two low cost players for Peyton Watson. TBD if Bryce Hopkins will get a 2-way contract or the last roster spot as well since he would be cheaper than a veteran & they wanna stay under the 1st apron

Despite playing every game for them last year, the Nuggets showed their hand recently when giving away Bruce Brown’s number to Alpha Diallo. . . So BB most likely has to find a spot elsewhere.


If Lonnie makes the team, he’ll be the third hurricane to suit up for the Nuggets recently (Davon Reed). Champions usually have longer careers, so i expect someone to pickup BB11 before the year is up.

Big year for Kyshawn and i imagine he will have to fight for a starting job throughout training camp and the regular season.

Probably will be many lineup changes w/ injuries and the HC tweaking to see who works well together. Wouldn’t be surprised if Brian Keefe is fired if they don’t make the playoffs this season. For starters he’s the worst HC in the league, and on top of that, not easy to deal with a major talent infusion and satisfying all the young guys, 4 of them being top ten picks too, who are going to have to sacrifice for the new main trio.

Good news is that Denver didn’t take back any players in the Peyton Watson trade which makes Lonnie’s spot more secured.


Word is the Cavs are waiving and stretching Cam Whitmore; potentially setting up a Bruce Brown—James Harden reunion in Cleveland. Udeh is on a 2-way there.
 
Bruce Brown got an exhibit 9 deal with the Knicks, surprised by that however it’s a great roster to be on….has to beat out Ochai Abiji and Jon Konchar which he can do.

Lakers were interested in BB however they are already at 16 guys, and would need to get to 14 to sign him so smart for him not to wait around anymore.

Some talk of the nuggets bringing in Cam Whitmore which would mean unlike what Bobby suggested, they are prepared to roster 15 players at the start of the szn. Whitmore would be competing with Lonnie for the last spot if it happens
