4.35 means you run past defenders. Berrios is a true Cane, but he never showed "run-by ability."

Mid-to-high 4.4s sounds about right for Berrios to me.
That sounds like the right amount of improvement from his 4.52 as a senior.
Thomas looks like a 4.3 guy on the field.
Berrios looks like a 4.4 guy (like Homer - but I think Homer likely has a better 10 yd time - he seems a bit more explosive).
But, he did post a 4.35, so I suppose you never know.
It's also interesting that Miami has had more 4.3 guys at the combine since they started the laser finishes in 1999 than before with the hand times - at least when comparing 1999 to current versus 1987 to 1999.
While there are a few more years of laser finishes in the years above, I was a bit surprised to see faster times since regardless.
