One of the many signs that Pop is done as an elite coach is that he could not figure out or just flat out refused to develop Lonnie Walker.

Bruce brown had a triple double to help the nuggets win in OT last night - 17 points 13 boards 10 assists and 4 steals.

Yeah, Pop is done and has been for a few years. Lonnie is the kind of guy they used to squirrel away for years and then have him become a pivotal player for 5-8 years. Instead he’s flourishing elsewhere after a couple of seasons.
And Pop is doing this:
Happy as I can possibly be for Lonnie though. Guy worked on his game, was a true Cane, and has overcome a lot in his life. His future is so bright.
