Pringle

BROWN IS RUNNING LIKE A MAN POSSESSED AND MARK JR IS JUST A BEAST ANYTIME HE TOUCHES THE BALL …PRINGLE WOULD ADD A GREAT WRINKLE FOR SURE…WE’RE TRULY BLESSED TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM

Why do we do this to ourselves? It's really hard to play 3 RBs in a close game in college football. See: Every other time we have tried to play 3 RBs in a close game the last couple of years. Hopefully the coaches get better at it next year if we have Fletcher/Brown/Pringle back, but I'd rather they not do science experiments during the natty game.

There is a big difference between both scenarios. Pringle has a role and potentially bright future. Look back at A&M and OSU game and he is just physically overmatched in pass pro. Understandably so considering he is only a freshman and he already was not big back type. Circumstances and matchups call for certain players. In this run the smart play is Fletch & Marty because they can physically do well in both the run and pass game
Fletcher has been playing the best of his career. I just hope pass pro isn't the reason for Pringles diminished role.

No Pringle and I think Lightfoot got one snap yesterday. More surprised at the latter than the former.

Pringle with get his chance here. He has to be patient. We have to be patient too

Our run game has been carrying us so no need to questions the rotation

But let's not forget:
Pringle is a big reason why we're here. We needed to win big vs NC St/VT/Pitt to even get in the playoffs, and Pringles explosiveness was a large part of that.

You don't pass block on run plays. Pringle's pass pro isn't stopping us from giving him a couple carries a game.

Why I think Pringle isn't playing:

Trust/Experience
- Coaches are going with the most battle tested in Fletcher & Brown

Mentality/Gameplan - Ball control, physical, clock-eating, will-imposing ground game. That's our gameplan, that's out identity, and that's for the big boys.

Fletcher's playing out of his mind, and Brown has come up with some huge plays - so let's ride with'em!

Pringle missed a block on a LB in the other game that caused a sack. I think that was all they needed to see in this playoff run for pass protection concerns. Think the Buckeye game maybe.
I think that was the last play he has been in. He must of done that previously to get benched liked that.
