2026 Prince Williams 3* DE from Gorman

Epenesa was a 5 star in bumfukk whatever state he played in.

In Williams first 2 or 3 game last years he likely faced more div 1 level recruits than Epenesa faced his entire hs career.

I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY FOLKS ARE SAYING HS RANKINGS OF KIDS NO W BEFORE SPRING OR SUMMER IS OVER ...THEY ARENT RANKED YET!!!
I wasn't attacking you. Relax. I said I don't see the similarity other than poly.
I'm also not attacking Prince. Iose Epenesa, while yes playing in BFE Southern Illinois, also has an older bro who was a first rounder and is taller and heavier than Prince. Epenesa was also a beast at the camps and was recruited by everyone. Prince's top 6 is not exactly loaded with high end schools (BYU, Utah, Arizona, Ucla, Wisconsin and the good guys). It's not a BAD list, but it's not Georgia, OSU, Michigan, Alabama, BYU and Miami either.
You might be right. You might not. Yes, Prince goes to Gorman....the same school that gave us a high four star named Cyrus Moss and another one named Elija Lofton. Both ranked similarly, both with very different trajectories. Both went to the same high school, but Prince is a (high) three star currently. I didn't get the comparison. Period. If you'd like to explain, I'm all ears. If not, that's ok too.

What if…Just what if...

He thinks they look alike, play alike on tape…And that some site ranking isn't the be all/end all?
He could have said as much and I would have been fine with that.

I didn't say it was the end all, be all. I said I don't see the similarity. I didn't mention it in the comment, but Iose is 6'4"/6'5" depending ont the site and Prince is 6'2"/6'3" depending on the site. Iose also is 30 lbs heavier and was recruited by everyone. My comment wasn't rude. It wasn't out of line. It wasn't an attack.

Dont think your attacking me at all.

- I dont know if Prince Williams is on a top 6 now. I just saw those are the 6 hes visiting again im not sure. That being said Espenesa when choosing was down to iowa, us, and utah. The offer list aint much different if ya ask me currently epenesa had a few higher looks like Penn state...if u want to include mizzou i guess. Epenesa ranking shot after doing the after the szn all star games where he looked good. The camps havenet even happened for Prince Williams yet so to say Epenesa was a beast at camps is premature because the same thing could happen with williams. Which is my whole point why are yall comparing an ending ranking of a player to one that hasnt been ranked yet or even went through his recruiting cycle?.

Not sure what cyrus moss and elijah lofton have to do with this?. we've also landed others from gorman to where its a pipeline school.

The comparison are epenesa and Willaims i view as both STRONGSIDE Defensive ensd. They are both in the 6'3 250-260 range as juniors. Williams made more plays up to this point in games in comparison to Epenesa. Williams plays on the better team and better comp. Epenesa showed out int he all american games with a step up in comp making his ranking legit, i could see Prince Williams having a similar trajectory.

That was obvious.

I stated STRONGSIDE EDGE and comparable to Iose Espenesa from last class.

Iose measured at 6'3 1/2 266 2 months ago...Williams ill take a wild guess will be around the 6'2 -6'2 1/2 260 range or more around this time next year?.

I knew i should of just compared him to a bum like Ruben Bain instead of Epenesa the Goat.

This part makes a ton of sense:

Thank you for taking the time to respond. My comments about Cyrus and Elija were to point out that I am well aware that the star rating is just an educated guess of future success and is not anywhere close to any guarantee.

...and it's Iose the GAWD thank you very much! He's way more than a Goat!

Epenesa was a 5 star. This kid is a high 3 star. I’m missing the comparison other than they’re both poly. I’m not hating on Prince; just don’t get the comparison.
This kid is not the elite level player we’re accustomed to of Bishop Gorman players

Nevada is also down in this cycle if the 602nd ranked player is also the #3 player in Nevada

For reference, here is the track record from the 2016-2021 recruiting cycles and subsequent NFL Draft picks used in this story.
